Ever since the creation of the monetary system, salaries have become an integrating part of the society. Even if the salaries are high or low, they are the ones who allow us to survive on a daily basis and to provide the necessary things for a decent living. Salaries fluctuate according to many criteria: some people have better salaries that allow them to pay the rent, mortgage or other bills, whilst others live on a minimum wage and try to live from day to day. The labor market is very unstable, when it comes to salaries. What today may be seen as a profitable business, with increasing salaries, can the next day become bankrupt and lead to mass reduction and bankruptcy.
That is why, future employees should be given professional advice in terms of the profile of the future job. Moreover, the salaries should be granted according to the educational background. For instance, employees who own a master’s degree or a PhD should have better paid salaries. That does not always happen in big companies, but there are still big enterprises that take into account the studies and remunerate the employees with appropriate salaries. The salaries are influenced by many factors, such as work experience, the responsibilities you have and the position you have on the hierarchical scale of the company.
The salaries are differently granted according to the place where you live and work. It varies from country to country. If the country is strongly developed from an economic point of view, the salaries will consequently be bigger. Should the country be unstable economically and financially, the salaries will be lower. There are instances where salaries are conceived differently, in the sense that some companies offer fixed salaries with bonuses, while others the salaries on the base of target achievement.
Unfortunately, the economic crisis that has taken over the world, has changed the way companies see the salaries level, in the sense that they have decreased considerably. It is more and more difficult for people nowadays to find a well paid job in the field they want, because many of the companies do not hire anymore or have gone bankrupt.
