Salaries fluctuate depending on several criteria as the country you live in, the field in which you work, studies, work experience, so is various. After recession, salaries decreased and people were faced with a lot of problems and they could not have a decent standard living as before. They were unemployed and they had to do something to solve their economic difficulties. Finding a job was really hard and some companies exploited their employees or the new employees, knowing they are looking for almost any job, instead of being unemployed.

As a waitress, for example, your salary will depend on the place you  work and live. First,  the country where you live is very important because if is a developed one, from an economic point of view, you will be able to have increased salaries. Usually, big and famous hotels, offer higher salaries to their waitresses, so it would be great if you had the opportunity to work there. On the other hand, people from less developed countries, go to work in those more developed because the salaries are higher than in their own countries. You will also find companies that besides salaries, offer you bonuses depending on your working results. When people think their salaries are not enough and they want a supplementary income, they can make money while working from home. This is very simple and they need only a computer and Internet connection.

People look for jobs with fixed salaries that can allow them to pay their rent or to have a decent living. If the salaries from a company are too small, then people will leave, trying to find something new and better paid. Average salaries are what most of people have, but if you are looking for higher salaries, then you need a lot of experience, great results and to be an expert. These things happen during time, so it may last a while until you will be one of those employees with huge salaries that can travel anywhere they want. Do not forget that big salaries also mean  a lot of work, time and efforts, so you have to try your best.
