If you have already graduated, you might ask yourself what salary you will have. As a doctor, you will have huge responsibilities, this meaning you will be responsible for the life of people. Usually doctor should be highly paid, but in less developed countries, things are not that way. The doctors’ salaries have become very low, especially after recession or during recession and there is no improvement yet. Medical salaries are not enough compared with the difficult studies and with the huge responsibility the future doctors will have, so things have turned in a negative way for them. Their career is not at all promising, at least not in the countries where they studied.
Even if the fresh graduates had great results, their salaries are the same. So, the solution was to leave their country and to go somewhere else where doctors are appreciated, useful and the salaries are satisfactory or even great. Many of them were disappointed of the salaries from their own countries, but that was the only solution. Some of them moved together with their family and even with their kids, ready for having a better and a different life, even if it was far away from their home.
In other countries, which are more developed, but have an increased need for doctors, the salaries are great, even huge, so it is a different thing. Some of the people that have gone to work for higher salaries say they will never return to their home country, while others hope to do this when things will improve and they will be able to have a decent standard living together with their family. Unfortunately, this will not happen so soon, as in less developed countries, the economic problems have not disappeared, but people still hope for a better future. Salaries are different from one country to another, but doctors should have increased salaries, but things are sometimes different. Salaries determine the decisions that people mark during their lives, but this is a dynamic field, so we can never be sure which is the best field to study to have huge or decent salaries.
